Working with the Jamie’s team to maintain the high standards of catering requirements.
Situated within the ground floor of the Hilton Hotel Moore London, the Jamie’s Italian restaurant boasts a prime location close to the heart of London’s shopping & financial district.
Working with the Jamie’s team the challenge was not only to fulfil the Jamie’s Italian menu for rustic Italian food, but also cater for the hotel’s high standards and catering requirements. Whilst the hotel continued its renowned 24hour operation the refurbishment took place seamlessly without disruption or impacting on guests.
Pushing the boundaries of the regular Jamie’s Italian concept the team delivered an outstanding facility in which Berkeley Projects assisted the design, supply, delivery and install of the commercial kitchen area together with the front of house cook line, anti-pasti counter and main bar.
Percy & Founders, Fitzroy Place
Berkeley Projects were appointed to develop the design in conjunction with their new Executive chef Diego Cardoso. This appointment provided a wealth of experience and creativity for a new exciting kitchen venture.
The main kitchen went through many different design stages, ultimately ending up as a show kitchen incorporating a bespoke Bonnet cooking range as its centre piece. All work tops have been finished with a marble surface providing the high quality feel and durability required by the Kitchen.
A smaller preparation kitchen is located at basement level, adjacent to the private dining room available for small parties.
Berkeley Projects worked closely with the client’s team to supply, manufacture and install all aspects of the catering fit out. This included the cold rooms, cellar cooling, bespoke fabrication and commercial catering equipment.
The restaurant is located in the new Fitzroy Place development, which was the former site of the Middlesex Hospital, at the junction of Mortimer Street and Berners Street.
Threadneedle Street, London
Berkeley Projects were appointed to develop the Burger & Lobster design within the heart of London’s financial district.
The commercial kitchen spaces installed were split between the ground floor production kitchen, a main island bar and on to a more private mezzanine dining level with a back of house preparation area and bespoke display bar.
Being placed within London’s square mile, careful planning was needed to work around the constraints of both delivery and access restrictions.
Berkeley Projects worked closely with the client’s professional team and nominated contractors to see through the Burger & Lobster concept design through to a successful completion.
Milsom Place, Bath
Berkeley Projects were again appointed to develop the Burger and Lobster design within Milsom Place, which is located at the heart of the fashionable Milsom Quarter in the World Heritage city of Bath. Set within beautiful Georgian buildings, terraces and open courtyards, Milsom Place is Bath’s smartest shopping and dining destination.
The scheme consisted of multiple levels of catering spaces, which were designed to fit within the existing, uniquely shaped rooms.
We took a lead role with the Burger and Lobster supply base, working closely with the main contractor, lead designers and key trades to ensure that the client’s brief was fulfilled, whilst maintaining both programme and quality throughout.
